Holiday Card Series 2015 – Day 24
Happy Friday! I’m still on a sequins kick, so today I have two shaker cards for you made using the Fuse Tool.
These were super simple to create! I cut some vellum paper with gold foil words down to be 4.75″ square and then placed it into an Avery Elle Storage Pocket. (Yes, I sacrificed a couple storage pockets to create these cards. Totally worth it because I couldn’t find my smaller page protectors). The plastic of the storage pockets works well with the Fuse Tool, so I was grateful to have some of those on hand.
I fused three sides to create a pocket around the vellum piece, then used two Little Things sequins mixes from Lucy’s Cards (Champagne and Gilded Rose) to fill the pockets with sequins.
I fused the top of the pocket closed and then trimmed around the newly created pocket.
To finish it off, I adhered a strip of DCWV glitter paper and a diecut from WPlus9’s Hand Lettered Holiday dies.
