Holiday Card Series 2016 – Day 23

Good morning, all! Are you ready for the last week of the Holiday Card Series? I have three more videos for you to finish out the series. I still might have some holiday cards between then and Christmas, but they won’t be an official part of the series. :)

For today’s card, I resurrected a technique I did nearly eight years ago on this card, which is adding white pen on top of brown ink on kraft colored cardstock.

Holiday Card Series 2016 - Day 23

The stamp set I used for this card is Christmas Botanicals from Memory Box. I stamped the wreath image in Colorbox Chestnut Roan ink. Then I added white with a Uniball Signo Broad white gel pen.

The greeting was stamped in VersaMark ink on Schoolhouse Red cardstock and then embossed using white embossing powder from Hero Arts.

I cut a slit in the fold of a top folding card so I could wrap baker’s twine vertically and then adhered the stamped panel to the card using foam adhesive.

I hope you love today’s card! I’ll be back very soon with another Mail Call video.

I often get questions about where to purchase the supplies I use in videos. To make it easier for my blog friends, all supplies are listed below! :) The letters below each image are links to stores where you can buy the product. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible.

All items were personally purchased. Items below are shown in the order they appear in the video.
