Holiday Card Series 2017 – Day 22 – Copic Coloring + Masked Backdrops

Happy Wednesday! Today is Day 22 of the Holiday Card Series. Only a few left! It’s just flying by! For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until December 20.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
Today I colored some cute image from Pink & Main’s Christmas Mugs stamp set. They make me want a nice, warm mug of hot cocoa. :)
I used Copic markers to color the mugs, and then created ink blended backdrops for each mug by masking off a rectangle area and then blending three Distress Inks (Candied Apple, Crushed Olive, and Forest Moss). I adhered the mugs with foam tape and then added a bit of shimmer with a clear Sparkle pen.
To finish off the card, I tied some red baker’s twine around the card front and tied a bow. The greeting for the card is stamped inside (see the video to see what the stamped greeting says).
I hope you enjoyed today’s video! Be back soon with Day 23.
