Happy Tuesday, all! Since I’m catching up from missing a day last week, I have another Holiday Card Series video for you! Today is Day 6 of the Holiday Card Series for 2017. For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until December 20.

You all know I can’t resist a good snowflake stamp set, right? I’m obsessed with them! When I saw Avery Elle’s Snowflakes stamp set I just knew I had to create something with the amazing snowflake images.
To keep it simple and let the snowflakes stand out, I created a simple, blended tree shape. I did this by masking off the tall triangle shape with 2″-wide Post-It Tape and then blending three colors of Distress Ink: Crushed Olive, Forest Moss, and Pine Needles.
For gold accents, I heat embossed the snowflakes and greetings from the Snowflakes stamp set using Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder. I also matted the entire tree piece on top of some Gold Foil cardstock from Altenew.
I hope you enjoy today’s card idea! It was so fun to create. Thanks for stopping by! :)
