Holiday Card Series 2018 – Day 11 – Watercolored & Metallic Embossed Trees

For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until November 30. Today’s card is clean, simple, and easy to create using watercolors and some tree stamps.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
I started this card by creating a watercolor background using Fabriano watercolor paper and Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. Then I stamped three tree images from Reverse Confetti’s Triangle Trees stamp set in Versamark ink. I added silver embossing powder to the trees and heat set them until smooth and melted.
To cut out the trees, I used the Triangle Trees die. Then I arranged them on some white cardstock just long enough to determine placement of the greeting (also from the stamp set). I heat embossed the greeting with the same silver embossing powder and then adhered the trees using foam tape.
I hope you enjoy this clean and simple card design! I’ll be back on Wednesday with Day 12. :)
