For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until November 30. For Day 2, I created a sweater-inspired card by using the Cozy Christmas stamp set from Concord & 9th.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
For the card, I used Soft Navy card stock from Simon Says Stamp. I scored it first so that I’d know where the fold would be while stamping. Then I repeated a stamping and embossing process until the entire card was covered in silver embossing…
- Prep cardstock area with anti-static powder tool.
- Stamp image from Cozy Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink.
- Coat stamped area with silver heat embossing powder. Shake off excess.
- Heat with heat tool until smooth and melted.
To add a pop of color, I diecut red hearts out of Crimson Glitter Paper from Simon using the Mini Hearts die set. I adhered the hearts using clear foam adhesive since the hearts were so small. And that’s it! All finished. :)
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll see you in a couple of day of Day 3.
