Holiday Card Series 2018 – Day 7 – Glowing Christmas Tree
For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until November 30. Today’s card features stamped metallic embossing with watercolor resist.

I used the Starry Night stamp set from Altenew to stamp and gold heat emboss a tree shape of stars on watercolor paper. Then I painted over the top to create a dramatic glowing from the center of the tree with Mijello Mission Gold watercolors.
To finish off the card, I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the stamp set on vellum and used the same gold heat embossing.
