For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until November 30. For Day 8, I decided to create a colorful card using the Stacking Snowflakes stamp set from Hero Arts.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
I LOVE the Stacking Snowflakes stamp set! Let’s face it, pretty much love all snowflakes. :)
To start off the card, I stamped the ” Winter Greetings” sentiment stamp from the stamp set. I heat embossed the greeting with silver embossing powder.
Then I used four colors of ink from Simon to stamp the snowflakes above the greeting: Hot Mama, Sunshine, Audrey Blue, and Doll Pink. To finish off the snowflakes and add a bit of shine, I die cut some small snowflakes from the Snow Flurries die set and coated them with silver embossing powder, and adhered them on top of the snowflakes
I wanted a soft pattern background on the card base, so I stamped the Floral Tile Bold Prints background stamp in Fossil ink.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back soon for Day 9. :)
