Holiday Card Series 2019 – Day 16 – Easy DIY Tree

Happy Friday! Today is Day 16 of the Holiday Card Series! For today’s card, I wanted to create a simple DIY Christmas Tree with masking tape and watercolor paints. This card is so simple and can be adapted to many different color schemes!
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I started out by masking a triangle shape on the front of my card (made out of watercolor paper) using masking tape. Then I painted bands or stripes of color across the tree shape using watercolor paints.
After removing the masking tape, I wrote “Merry” beneath the tree. And that’s it! Super simple!

Thanks for stopping by to see this easy DIY card idea! I’ll be back on Monday with Day 17 of the Holiday Card Series. :)
