Holiday Card Series 2019 – Day 21 – Ink Blended Emboss Resist

Hello, all! Welcome back for Day 21 of the Holiday Card Series! Today I have a fun card made with snowflake stamps (I can’t resist a good snowflake) and emboss resist! I used the Intricate Snowflakes stamp set from Stampendous for this card.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I started out by ink blending Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Blueprint Sketch onto white cardstock. After it was dry, I clear embossed the snowflakes onto the background.
Then I applied a second layer of ink blending, eventually adding Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks as well. I buffed the ink off the surface of the heat embossing, leaving behind the original layer of ink blending underneath the clear embossing powder.

To finish off the card, I added a greeting that was stamped and white heat embossed on black cardstock, some clear embellishments, and also some dots and sparkles drawn on the card using a white Gelly Roll pen.
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back soon with Day 22! :)
