Holiday Card Series 2019 – Day 3 – Metallic Wreath Painting

Hello, all! Today is Day 3 of the Holiday Card Series for 2019, and I created a card using the Tidings Wreath stamp set from Memory Box. Plus, I broke out the Altenew Metallic Watercolors again. :)
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I stamped the large wreath image from the stamp set onto black watercolor paper using VersaMark ink. Then I applied Gilded embossing powder and melted it with my heat tool.
Then I started painting! I used three different green and greenish blue shades from the Altenew Metallic Watercolor set to paint the leaves of the wreath. I used the red shade in the palette for the berries. I splattered a silver white shade over the entire watercolor piece as well.
For the greeting, I wanted a red background and wanted it to match the painting. So I painted the red metallic color over the same black watercolor paper, dried it, and then stamped and embossed the greeting.
Thanks for tuning in today! Check back soon for Day 4 of the Holiday Card Series. :)
