Holiday Card Series 2019 – Day 4 – Snowflakes & Metallic Rainbow
Happy Friday, all! For Day 4 of the Holiday Cards Series, I created a snowflake card! I love all the snowflake dies from Simon! I used a bunch of them on this card, plus the Altenew Metallic Watercolor set.

I started out by creating a metallic rainbow background for my snowflakes to be on top of. I roughly painted rainbow colors from the Altenew Metallic Watercolor set over black watercolor paper. I did a few layers of color so that I could get a better blend of color.
Then I die cut a bunch of snowflake dies from Simon out of white cardstock. I used Marie, Grace, Lea, Rina, and Snow Flurries. I adhered them to the background using Connect Glue.
For the greeting, I stamped the “Season’s Greetings” image from Simon’s Holiday Greetings Mix 1 stamp set on the same black watercolor paper and white heat embossed it.
To finish off the card, I added 8mm and 5mm Crystal sequins from Darice.
