Holiday Card Series 2019 – Day 6 – Snowman Shaker Card

Hello, all! Today marks Day 6 of the Holiday Card Series for 2019. And for this card I wanted to use the Feeling Frosty stamp set from Sunny Studio. All those cute little snowmen! I decided to color all of them and turn my card into a shaker card.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I started by stamping the images from the Feeling Frosty stamp set in black Copic-friendly ink. Then I colored all of them using Copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the circle window of the shaker card, I used the Nested Circles dies from Simon Says Stamp, assembled the snowmen around in the inside bottom area, and then glued them to the circle window. Then I glued acetate behind the snowmen to create the front panel of the shaker area.
I placed foam tape around the circle window and then sprinkled Assorted Moonshine sequins from Simon into the shaker area.

The back wall of the shaker area was created by ink blending four colors of Distress Oxide Ink: Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot. I pressed the blended panel down onto the foam tape of the shaker area and trapped the sequins inside the shaker.
I finished off the card by white heat embossing a greeting from the stamp set on black card stock and then adhering it to the front of the card.
Thanks for tuning in! I’ll be back soon with another card video. :)
