Holiday Card Series 2022 – Day 17 – Ink Blended Hanukkah Card

Happy Monday, all! For Day 17 of the Holiday Card Series I wanted to create another Hanukkah card. However, I couldn’t find stamps or dies for what I had in mind. So I created some digital cutting files to use with my Cricut. Along with some ink blending using two inks from Simon Says Stamp (Morning and Twilight) and some silver cardstock, I love how it turned out. :)
Years ago, I had a Cricut and I was underwhelmed with it’s performance and software limitations (to put it lightly). However, they’ve much improved the latest Cricut machines and have updated their software. I have no complaints now. :)
This does not mean that I’ll be using a Cricut for all my cards now. I still am very much a metal die crafter, especially since I design them for Simon Says Stamp and I want to use the products I design. In fact, the reason I initially purchased a Cricut was to test die designs I was working on. I needed to test the designs with actual cut paper to make sure they worked. A digital cutter was the only way to do that.
Anyhow, since I created the candles and “Hanukkah” greeting for my card, I thought I would offer them for free here at my blog. You can use the files in whatever program you have that uses .svg files.
