How to Create Stamped Scene Cards with the September 2020 Card Kit

NOTE: This post is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!
Happy Monday, all! I’m back to show you some card kit inspiration! The September 2020 card kit from Simon Says Stamp is packed with amazing products, and today I’ll be showing you three ways to use the Just Miss You stamp set from the kit.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

My first card was stamped on white cardstock and then the heart was colored using Polychromos colored pencils. I only colored the heart so that it was the focal point of the card.

For my second card, I stamped the images from the stamp set on watercolor paper. I watercolored the sky area and hearts, and then added some details to the balloons using a white gel pen.

Both of these card designs rely on precision stamping, so be sure to watch the video for a tip on how to get your images positioned just right when stamping. :)

I also have a third card at the end of the video. This card is so super simple, but packs a punch! A bit of “stamp surgery” makes creating this card easy and quick (watch the video to see what I did).
You can pick up the September 2020 Card Kit here, or subscribe for this kit and future kits here. As usual, you can purchase elements of the kit separately, including the Just Miss You stamp set and Sending Smiles die set. Thanks for stopping by!
