Ink Smooshing & No-Line Watercoloring with Distress Inks

Hi all! I asked on Facebook if there were cards that I’ve made in the past that you would like to see recreated and today’s card is based on one of those cards. A while back I created a fun ink smooshing card. It’s still one of my favorites, too! I decided to take the ink smooshing idea as a jumping off point to create a new card.
This time I used a more subdued color palette for the ink smooshing. I used four colors of Distress Ink: Evergreen Bough, Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, and Pumice Stone.
For this card, I did no-line watercoloring with stamps from Waffle Flower’s Popping In stamp set. I thought the images were so cute and a soft color palette and no-line coloring would look really nice. I used Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp the images and then watercolored using the same Distress Ink colors I used for the ink smooshing. Once the images were dry, I cut them out using the coordinating die set.
I hope you enjoy today’s video!
