Intricate Die Cutting with Glitter Paper
Hello, all! In today’s video I show how to use new dies and stamps from Simon Says Stamp’s Good Vibes release. There are SO many awesome things in the release that I just can’t show them all! Check out Tuesday’s post for another idea, too.

The main showstopper on this card is the intricate die cut covering the entire card front. I used the Debra die to cut out some gold glitter paper. Be sure to watch the video above for some tips on die cutting this and other intricate dies using glitter paper.
Since the die design has quite a bit of open space, I decided to stamp a pattern on the black cardstock behind it. I used Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink and the Center Cut Geometric Pattern stamp (with the center area take out of the stamp). I love the tone on tone effect of the Hickory Smoke ink over black cardstock.
The greeting area has two parts: the large “friend” word cut from the Big Friend die set, and the smaller greeting stamped using the new Vacation Time stamp set.
To finish off the card, I used gold sequins.
