Loose Watercolor Underpainting + Stamping
Happy Monday, all! Today I’m sharing with you a card heavily inspired by CeeCee from creationsceecee on Youtube. I recently found her videos thanks to a commenter on one of my videos, and I just fell in love with her art! I love her loose watercolor style! I was so inspired that I wanted to try out her loose watercoloring on my own. I briefly chatted with CeeCee on Instagram and she was totally okay with me sharing my experimentation using her techniques in a new video. Thanks, CeeCee! So here we go!

CeeCee usually paints colorful watercoloring pieces and then adds whimsical pen work on top. Instead of drawing, I decided to stamp the large floral from Concord & 9th’s Grateful For Everything stamp set. Because I would eventually be stamping the image, I kept how the floral spray appeared in my mind. This helped me somewhat place the colors.
I used Arches cold press watercolor paper and Mijello Mission Gold watercolors (with a separate palette, but you can get the same watercolors with a palette in this set).
