Morning, all!

Last night before I started making this card, I sat at my craft desk and brainstormed ideas for how to use this alphabet stamp set. Ideas that were outside of the regular uses, that is. I thought of the numerous posters on Etsy with an alphabet and “I {heart} U” in them. Hmmm… why not?

This experimental way of stamping with all the letters stamps at the same time has it’s flaws. Leaves edges around some of the letters, it’s difficult to avoid a ghostly double stamp around some of the letters. But on the other hand, I was able to create two cards with different colors in a very short time. If I wanted to make even more, I think I might have experimented a bit longer and worked out the kinks. :)

Anyhow, here’s to trying something new!

NOTE: This “stamp all the alpha stamps at the same time” thing would have been enormously easier with clear cling stamps. Hmm… must try that sometime soon. :)

Summer Card Camp 2011

A big thank you for the awesome response to Summer Card Camp 2011. We’re super excited for it to start. :) A bunch of the guest designer are giving away spots in the class (my giveaway is still open for a couple days, too), so be sure to check their blogs in the next couple of weeks. When I hear about them, I send the word out via Twitter. You can follow me on Twitter, or catch them in the side bar here at my blog, too. :)

Happy Monday!
