Happy Monday, all! (or should I say Monday night?) ;)

Before I started on this card tonight, I sat down and really thought about what I wanted to create. I wanted it to be simple, easy, and completed with minimal steps. I’ve made lots and lots of these types of cards over the years and they still are my favorite to make. :) Sometimes you just want play with some paper and make a card, right?

The sentiment stamp is Good Gab from Paper Smooches, and the patterned paper is from Pebbles’ Walnut Grove 6×6 pad (anyone else think of Little House on the Prairie?). I thought it would be fun to fill in one of the hearts with a VersaMarker and then pop up another heart cut out of patterned paper.

Mannie goes through phases where he’ll sleep in one spot in the house. Recently, he’s been snuggling up on this pillow that my mom and sister made for his a while ago. :)
