MACM – Thanks For Your Kindness

MACM - thanks for all you do

Hi all! Sorry this is up so late. Hopefully it’s worth the wait. :)

For the card tonight, I used some paper I bought a few weeks ago. It’s the specialty paper pack from Anna Griffin’s Isabelle line. It’s not my usual style for patterned paper, but the patterns were so beautiful I couldn’t resist. That, and the colors are awesome! After seeing one of the patterns in particular I thought it would be fun to cut out a section of the pattern and use it as a window on a card.

I also tried out embossing with Hero Hues ink. Most of the time chalk inks dry too quickly to use for embossing, but being that vellum is a more slick surface, the ink didn’t have a chance to dry. The long drying time allowed me to quickly apply some embossing powder. In the picture it looks pretty blurry, but in real life, it’s rather crisp. It has a different look to it than regular embossing. Almost a jelly look. It’s interesting. :)

So, enjoy!
