MACM – Thinking of You

MACM - Thinking of You

Morning, all! I hope your weekend of fabulous. I stayed close to home, letting my back recover a bit, and also took care of Mannie. The poor kitty, he’s been sick from the antibiotic. Jumped right into pet ownership with all of it’s emergency cleanups, if you know what I mean. ;) But I gave him the last dose a couple nights ago and he seems to be doing better. Blissfully sleeping the day away. Hopefully I won’t need to go to the vet again. :)

For this week’s card, I wanted to try out my new Martha Stewart Crafts punches (Garden Trellis, 3-in-1 Butterfly, and Royal Butterfly). I’ve mentioned in the past that while I like the designs of the punches, sometimes they can be super hard to use with heavy cardstock because of the intricate designs. I still feel that way, however the Garden Trellis Deep Edger punch does pretty well with heavy cardstock. You’ll see in the video that I picked the punch up for a bit more control. You just have to remember that you’ll feel (and hear) the punch go through the paper twice. If it does it twice, then you’re good to go.

Also, I did a bit of handwriting on the card. In case you missed it, and because handwriting questions are my most asked, I created a special edition of Virtual Card Club on Exploring Your Personal Handwriting Style. I posted it yesterday. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

NOTE: I accidentally put a Finally Friday intro in the video. Oops! I’ll re-upload the video later today with the correct intro. :)
