Mail Art – Birthday Balloon & Monster Envelope

Hello all! I have a fun Mail Art envelope for you featuring the new Monster Hugs stamp set from Concord & 9th. This is a STAMPtember exclusive stamp set! That means that there are limited quantities and when it’s sold out, it will not be restocked. So if you love this cutie monster, you might want to grab it soon! :)
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
Like I mention in the video, this envelope goes with a card that I made for the Simon Says Stamp blog. You can check out the card (and video!) HERE.
For the envelope, I turned it on it’s side (so that the envelope is portrait) and stamped the monster going off the bottom edge. Since I needed a larger balloon for the address than what’s included in the stamp set, I traced a circle die and then used a black pen to draw the balloon.
To add a small amount of shading and color, I used Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils.
I hope you enjoyed the video! You can pick up the Monster Hugs stamp set from Concord & 9th here. Thanks for stopping by!
