Hi all! Today I am taking part in the Mama Elephant Anniversary Stampede. Can you believe Mama Elephant has been giving us awesome stamps for a year?! There’s a part of me that thinks, “Has it only been a year?” I love their stamps so much I’m not sure I remember when they weren’t around! LOL!

Anyhow, when I was asked if I would participate in their celebration, of course I said yes!

Mama Elephant has just released some amazing new stamp sets (see all the Mama Elephant stamps available at Simon Says Stamp HERE). I had the privilege to play with the Winter Wonderland stamp set

Aren’t those deer so cute? I just had to use them!

The background behind the deer was made using Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Peeled Paint and Evergreen Bough. Then I brought in some Black Soot on the bottom. I love the mystical (moody?) look of the scene. And the trees are the perfect touch. I seriously want to keep stamping this scene with a bunch of different background colors. :)

Here’s another look…

The banner is vellum with the greeting embossed in silver. I used vellum so that a bit of the background will still show through. It’s adhered to the background using Kool Tak clear foam.
