Hi all!
This is the second card I made for Simon Says Stamp with the Martha Stewart Crafts Pop-Up Frosty Village Punch. This time I used the shapes as masks. This would be an easy card to reproduce because you could use the punched shapes over and over again. :)
For this card, not only did I do masking, but by cutting the card stock on a slope, the punch is able to reach farther into the piece of card stock. This gives the line of houses and trees a more dynamic look.
After experimenting with both ink mists and distress inks, I found the easiest way to use the shapes as masks was to use a Blending Tool and Seasonal Distress Inks. I love that gray-ish green color so SO much. Could us it on practically everything. LOL!
Anyhow, enjoy!
