Masked Ink Blending + Zig Clean Color Markers
Happy Wednesday, all!
Today I have a fun card featuring masked ink blending. I paired a masked heart with some cute images from Pretty Pink Posh to create a friendship card. Isn’t the little girl so adorable? :)
I stamped the girl and balloon from the Friends Forever stamp set on Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock first and masked off the images to protect them while I did some ink blending. I also diecut a heart from Simon Says Stamp’s Nested Hearts die set out of masking paper and applied the outer mask to the cardstock. Then I blended four colors of Distress Ink: Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, and Tumbled Glass.
After removing the mask, I colored the girl and balloon using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added a bit of shine to the balloon by applying Glossy Accents.
