Happy Monday, all! Today I made both a circle shaker card and an envelope. I used the Thankful Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for the circle shaker card, and beautiful FineTec Pearlescent watercolors on the envelope.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I started out by die cutting a bunch of pieces for the shaker card:
- Circle card base (brown cardstock) – Nested Circle dies
- Slight smaller circle for the “back wall” of the shaker area (brown cardstock) – Nested Circle dies
- Circle (acetate shaker window) – Nested Circle dies
- Two circle frames (brown cardstock) – see video for how these are cut – Nested Circle dies and Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Circle Stackables dies
The pattern on the “back wall” of the shaker was stamped using the flower images in the Thankful Flowers stamp set, and then heat embossed using Metallic Copper embossing powder from Wow. I stamped the greeting on the acetate circle and embossed it with Alabaster embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.

For the copper frame on the card, I coated the die cut frame with VersaMark and then applied the copper embossing powder and heat set it. I coated it with two layers of embossing powder for an even smoother look.

After assembling the shaker card, I worked on an envelope. I used a 5.75″ square envelope from Paper Source and painted metallic streaks of color across the bottom of the envelope using FineTec Pearlesent watercolors.
Tanja’s address was brush lettered using white gouache, and her address added with a white Sharpie paint pen.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll see you soon with another card video. :)
