Minimal Supplies Card with Botanical Drawing Book

Hi all! Today I thought I would create another card using minimal supplies. I received Peggy Dean’s Botanical Line Drawing book in the mail not long ago and I’ve been wanting to try out sketching some flowers and leaves. And a big thank you to Peggy for sending me the book! Be sure to check out Peggy’s Instagram account, too.
I used two step-by-step examples from the book to draw the flowers and leaves on some watercolor paper. Then I watercolored them using inexpensive Crayola washable watercolors. To add some detail to the leaves, I used an Extra Fine Point Posca White Paint Marker.
I hope you enjoy today’s video! You can pick up a paperback copy of Botanical Line Drawing or the digital version for your Kindle or Kindle app at Amazon.
NOTE: The other floral drawing book I mention in the video is called Modern Florals by Alli Koch. Also, you can register for our new class called Rainbow Maker here.
