Mother’s Day Card with Polychromos Colored Pencils (Simon New Release Blog Hop)

Hello, all! Today I have a fun card for you made using supplies from Simon Says Stamp’s latest release, Fluttering By (see the entire release HERE). In fact, today’s post is part of the blog hop for the release! So be sure to check out the giveaway and blog hop info at the bottom of this post.
To create a background area, I stamped and embossed the center area from the Center Cut Flowers stamp multiple time to fill the bottom area of the card. Then I colored it using Polychromos colored pencils.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
After the coloring, I diecut the main greeting using the Script Mom die. I used white cardstock for the shadow area, and gold foil cardstock for the thin “Mom” (I’ve linked to a similar foil cardstock). The greeting was finished by stamping and embossing one of the small greetings from the Mom Flowers stamp set on vellum.
I hope you enjoyed the video! Be sure to check out the blog hop information below…
