No-Line Watercoloring with Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing

Happy Wednesday, all! When I say down to film today’s card video, I really wanted to do some more no-line watercoloring with stamps from Lawn Fawn. I loved how it came out the last time I did this, so I wanted to try it again. This time I used the Smooth Sailing stamp set to create two cards.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I stamped the images in Fade Out ink from InkOn3. I had a better experience with the ink this time around (it didn’t work as well for me the last time I tried it with Distress Ink watercoloring). Not sure if the combination of hot pressed watercolor paper and traditional watercolors (versus the Distress Inks I used before) made the difference. I think I’ll need to experiment even more. :) For now, I’ll add it into my rotation with my usual Antique Linen Distress Ink for no-line watercoloring.
Goes to show that giving things a second chance is worth it! I saw so many people loving the Fade Out ink that I knew I needed to give it a second shot.

I painted the cards using a 24-set of watercolors from Sakura Koi, and I used a teeny tiny Round 0 watercolor brush to paint the small bunny and bear from the stamp set on each card.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back soon with another card video. :)
