Oxide Blending on Black Cardstock – Make a Card Monday #286

Happy Monday, all! Today I experimented with Distress Oxide ink blending over black cardstock. Because Oxide inks are more opaque, they work great on dark surfaces!

I started out by using the Clouds stencil from Newton’s Nook to create layers of cloud on black cardstock. I used five colors of Distress Oxide ink and Picket Fence Blender Brushes.

After allowing the ink blending to dry thoroughly, I stamped one of the large greetings from Simon’s Big Birthday Greetings stamp set in VersaMark ink and applied white heat embossing powder.
