Happy Tuesday, all! I am continuing my focus on the newer Distress colors, and today’s ink blending combos are for the color Prize Ribbon. So here are four new #KristinasOxideCombos for you all! Enjoy!
Hi all! Today I hopped on YouTube at my new livestreaming time, Fridays at 10am MT, to create two cards! I used MFT’s Piece of my Heart die for the main focal point, and stamped Simon’s Wavy Circle background for s subtle pattern. The patterned paper I used is the Color Study 6×8 pack of paper from Vicki Boutin. The greetings were made using two dies from Simon: Hello Beautiful Gorgeous and Get Well Soon.
Are you ready for more Distress Oxide Ink blending combos? I asked on Instagram and many of you said yes! So here we are! Last week Tim Holtz announced a brand new color for the Distress family! Saltwater Taffy is a beautiful pastel coral pink. Gorgeous! Today, I broke out my ink blending tools and created four new #KristinasOxideCombos for you all! Enjoy!
NOTE: A big thank you to Simon Says Stamp for sending me a Saltwater Taffy package of goodies! I had the new color in hand the day Tim announced it! Thanks, Simon!
Happy Wednesday, all! For tonight’s livestream, I created a shadow study for some images from Mama Elephant’s Celebration Hamster stamps, then colored them with Copic markers.
As I wraped up all my Valentine’s Day crafting for this year, I was left with lots of leftover bits and bobs that I thought would look great together on a card! So I’m using leftovers from previous cards for today’s very clean and simple card design. I used greetings from the XL Love Greetings stamp set that I used on this card, and cut out gold hearts from the Basic Box Hearts dies that I used on this card. I also paired it with a hand-lettered envelope.
Happy Friday! Today I have a card and envelope to share with you. I used the Hot Lips stencil from Simon, plus Glitz Glitter Gels and the XL Love Greetings stamps and dies, to create a card. Then I used the same stencil and gold watercolors from Iuile Watercolors to decorate an envelope. I used Deco Pigment brush markers from Karin for Susan’s name and other details.
Happy Wednesday, all! For tonight’s livestream, I revisited the technique I shared in my last post: faux lettering with stamps! The Lovey Dovey stamps from Sunny Studio are perfect for this technique!
Happy Monday! When I saw the You Are So Loved stamp from My Favorite Things, I immediately wanted to create today’s card. I thought it would be so fun to make a clean and simple card where I trace over the stamped greeting with paint pens or markers. The Karin Pigment Deco Brush markers are perfect for this! I used the Passion set since it had lots of reds and pinks. :)
Happy Wednesday, all! For tonight’s livestream, I created slimline card with mini envelopes on it. I used Simon’s Mini Interactive Envelope dies and Love & Meows patterned paper from Newton’s Nook.
Happy Wednesday, all! For my weekly livestream, I created a simple Valentine’s Day Card, plus a mail art envelope. It was so fun creating creating the lettering for these envelopes!
