Happy Friday! Today is Day 9 of the Holiday Card Series! For today’s card, I stamped and embossed a bunch of images from Reverse Confetti’s Pattern Panels stamp set and then cut them apart so I could and ink to them separately. Then I put them back together, and stamped a greeting from the Sparkle and Shine Sentiments stamp set.
Hi, all! I’m back with Day 8 of the Holiday Card Series and it’s super sparkly!
I first created a watercolor ombré (or gradient) background and them embossed it with the brand new Snowflake Visions embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. Then I diecut the Harmony Snowflakes and Aurora Snowflake dies using Magenta glitter paper, and the main greeting with white cardstock and the Peace Love Hope Joy die. And because I couldn’t resist, I then added sequins!
Happy Friday! Welcome back for Day 7 of the Holiday Card Series! Today’s card was inspired by one of the color combos included in the Ink Combos Guide Holiday 2021 (download for FREE here). I used the colors from Combo #8 and Concord & 9th liquid watercolors (Peacock, Evergreen, Sorbet, Grapefruit, Stardust, and Sea Glass) to create a background. Then I silver embossed over the top using the Jingle All the Way stamp set from Honey Bee.
NOTE: This post is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp! Thanks, Simon!
Hi all! I just shared this video on the Simon Says Stamp Blog and just had to share it here as well! So I’m taking a short break from the Holiday Card Series to show you these amazing watercolor backgrounds created with Distress Reinkers.
Happy Friday, all! Today I’m back with Day 3 of the Holiday Card Series! For this card, I’m revisiting one of my favorite watercolor techniques: Faux Dip Dye. Such a fun technique! I used the Big on Christmas stamp set from Concord & 9th for the greeting, and the Lots of Stars stamp set from Simon (which is unfortunately retired).
