Hello, all! Welcome back for Day 15 of the Holiday Card Series! For today’s card, I created a floating greeting by diecutting a window in the front of my card, and adhering the die cut greeting (Simon’s Hello Sweater Weather dies) onto acetate. Super easy! I also used Hero Art’s Buffalo Check background stamp for the front of the card.
Hi all! Today marks Day 14 of the Holiday Card Series for 2021. It’s also Wednesday, so I popped on live at YouTube to create today’s card. It turned out to be a card AND envelope!
Hi, all! Happy Monday! Today’s card was made by stamping small images in different colors of ink to create a DIY patterned paper. Super fun! I used the Iconic Christmas stamp set from My Favorite Things, plus the Perfect Sentiments: Holiday stamps and dies for the large greeting. The foil patterned paper behind the circle element is from DCWV’s Frosted Peppermint 6×6 pad.
Hello! Happy Friday! Today is Day 12 of the Holiday Card Series. For today’s cards I used one design but switched up how I used the stencil. I used the Holiday Boho Circle stencil from Simon with both Merlot ink on one card, and Cherry Glitz Glitter Gel on the other. Both cards were finished off with the Large Rejoice dies and Reverse Love Peace Joy sentiment strips.
Happy Friday! Today is Day 9 of the Holiday Card Series! For today’s card, I stamped and embossed a bunch of images from Reverse Confetti’s Pattern Panels stamp set and then cut them apart so I could and ink to them separately. Then I put them back together, and stamped a greeting from the Sparkle and Shine Sentiments stamp set.
Hi, all! I’m back with Day 8 of the Holiday Card Series and it’s super sparkly!
I first created a watercolor ombré (or gradient) background and them embossed it with the brand new Snowflake Visions embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. Then I diecut the Harmony Snowflakes and Aurora Snowflake dies using Magenta glitter paper, and the main greeting with white cardstock and the Peace Love Hope Joy die. And because I couldn’t resist, I then added sequins!
Happy Friday! Welcome back for Day 7 of the Holiday Card Series! Today’s card was inspired by one of the color combos included in the Ink Combos Guide Holiday 2021 (download for FREE here). I used the colors from Combo #8 and Concord & 9th liquid watercolors (Peacock, Evergreen, Sorbet, Grapefruit, Stardust, and Sea Glass) to create a background. Then I silver embossed over the top using the Jingle All the Way stamp set from Honey Bee.
