Holiday Card Series 2022 – Day 18 – Stencil Ink Blended Cards

NOTE: This post is sponsored byΒ Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hello, all! It’s Day 18 of the Holiday Card Series. For today’s cards, I did lots of ink blending using Simon’s new Large Chevron stencil set. For one card, the large tree shape from the Glistening Snowflakes stamp set fits inside the chevrons. And for the other card, I used the Amelia Snowflake die to create a thick element. For both cards, I used the Simple Holiday Greetings stamp set for the sentiments.

Holiday Card Series 2022 – Day 17 – Ink Blended Hanukkah Card

Happy Monday, all! For Day 17 of the Holiday Card Series I wanted to create another Hanukkah card. However, I couldn’t find stamps or dies for what I had in mind. So I created some digital cutting files to use with my Cricut. Along with some ink blending using two inks from Simon Says Stamp (Morning and Twilight) and some silver cardstock, I love how it turned out. :)

Holiday Card Series 2022 – Day 15 – Embossing Diffuser Hanukkah Card

Hello, all! Happy Wednesday! Today is Day 15 of the Holiday Card Series, and I have a Hanukkah card for you. This card design can be modified for lots of different cards, not just holiday cards. The center area will accommodate many different greeting stamps.

I used Embossing Diffusers from Tim Holtz on Cosmic cardstock from Spellbinders to create an embossed background that included a plain center area for a greeting. The embossing folder I used is the Kaleidoscope embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. And the greeting is from The Crafter’s Workshop’s Happy Hanukkah stamp set.

Holiday Card Series 2022 – Day 12 – Painting over stamped scene

Hello, all! Today is Day 12 of the Holiday Card Series. Can you believe we’re almost halfway through? The holiday season is just flying by!

For today’s card, I used Penny Black’s Panorama stamp and painted over it. I stamped it in Tumbled Glass Distress Ink since it’s a light color, and then watercolored over the top. To finish off the card, I stamped a greeting from Simon Says Stamp’s Christmas Blessings stamp set.

Holiday Card Series 2022 – Day 11 – Simple Diecutting

Happy Monday, all! For Day 11 of the Holiday Card Series, I wanted to create a card that is super simple and easy to duplicate. The Nordic Noel dies from Concord & 9th are perfect for this because of the size! You can keep the design super simple. For the background, I used Ink Drops Rose papers from Craft Consortium, and fill in the accents on the dies with gold cardstock diecuts. I also used sentiment strips from Simon Says Stamp for the secondary greeting.

I started cleaning my very messy craft room a few months ago. And after purging a TON of things, and organizing many areas (with many more still in the middle of being organized), I realized that there was never going to be a "perfect" time to share a full craft room tour. It will always be in some sort of disarray. So here's a realistic look at my craft room after cleaning up for a few months at the start of the year.
