Painted Stripes Over Background Stamps (NEW Simon Release)

Happy Wednesday! I’m posting this very late at night because the Simon Says Stamp release just went live! So many fun, summer products are included in the release. See all the new stuff here.
The new Delicate Outline Flowers Background stamp is perfect for a technique that I wanted to try. I thought it would be fun to paint stripes over a background, ignoring the background design itself. So fun!
So after drawing on the stripes, I got to painting! I painted stripes in two different ways–an isolated rainbow diagonally across, and full edge-to-edge stripes.
To finish off the cards, I diecut hearts using Simon’s Nested Hearts dies. The greetings are cut from the new Reverse Pride Sentiment Strips from CZ Design.
Enjoy!
