Personalized Monogram Cards
Happy Wednesday, all! Today I have a couple personalized cards for you. I used the new Mega Alphabet Dies from Altenew to create monogram cards for my friends Ginger and Michelle.

Altenew just came out with these large letter dies and I’m sort of obsessed with them (see all of them HERE). The size is perfect for card fronts since it fills an entire card. Super easy! Also, the price of each letter die ranges from $6.99-$9.99, depending on the size of the letter (i.e. the letter “I” is obviously smaller than the letter “M”). They also have some bundles where you get all the letters to spell Happy, Birthday, Welcome, Party, and Celebrate (with a bit of a discount, too). You can also pick up the entire alphabet.
Anyhow, I chose to create just two cards today, and do different backgrounds to go behind each letter.
For Ginger’s card, I die-cut the Mega Alphabet G die out of navy cardstock. Then I stamped Altenew’s Pinstripe background stamp in Emerald ink on white cardstock. I blended on some Volcano Lake ink as well. To accentuate the edges of the diecut letter, I painted the edges gold with a pearlescent paint from the FineTec 12-color palette.
For Michelle’s card, I used a white cardstock to die cut the letter M. I used the Moroccan Mosaic stamp from Altenew and stamped and heat embossed it. Then I blended on four Altenew ink colors: Deep Iris, Rubellito, Orange Cream, and Fresh Lemon. The heat embossed lines resisted the ink, leaving the Moroccan Mosaic pattern behind.
