Rainbow Stamping with Pigment Inks – Make a Card Monday #273

Happy Monday, all! Today I experimented with rainbow pigment ink stamping using the new Paper Smooches Luminous Spring stamp set. :)

The rainbow effect on the balloon stamping was achieved by rolling one side of the balloon stamp into different ink colors. Super easy and I love the effect.

As expected, a small amount of the each ink color is transferred to the second ink pad. However, it’s simple to clean up with a paper towel or by dabbing the ink pads on scratch paper to “clean up.”

To finished the card, I added the letters for “Love You” on the balloons with a white pen, drew on the strings, and adhered the stamped piece to a black card base. I think I might make some more cards like this but increase the number of balloons so that it reads “Happy B-day”. :)
