I had my first SU! Sell-A-Bration workshop last night. I’ve only done a small number of workshops outside of my monthly club since I became a demonstrator last August, but I took a different approach this time…
In the past, I’ve absolutely hated all the business stuff I have to cover, especially when presenting to experienced scappers. It just takes SO long and that’s not really why I’m there. I’m there to teach new techniques, show product, and answer questions, right? So this time I took this approach:
Cut to the chase. I introduced myself and went right into the projects. While I was demonstrating them, I mentioned some of the important things like mounting stamps and the way Sell-A-Bration and mini catalogs works. Just general information they need to know to order. I was hoping that my general enthusiasm would make up the difference.
And it did! My workshop closed at over $500 and I got two bookings! I’m so happy with the outcome.
