Halloween Watercoloring & Stamptember Blog Hop!

Hi all!

Today I am taking part in the Stamptember 2014 Blog Hop! Simon Says Stamp has released a bunch of new products and we’re playing with them. :) You can see everything in the release HERE.

Yesterday, I shared the products that I designed. One of of my favorite new stamp sets is Trick or Treat, which features my kitty Mannie. Well, okay, it’s not specifically Mannie. ;) Depending on how you color the cat, it could be anyone’s cat. And there’s a puppy in the stamp set, too.

For the card below, I created a scene with the stamps and watercolored with Distress Markers and Distress Inks. The “Happy Halloween” greeting was white heat embossed before I started painting and it resisted the watercoloring, leaving behind a white greeting. I hope you enjoy the video!
