STAMPtember® Exclusive Stamps: Lawn Fawn

Happy Monday, all! I have a fun video for you today featuring new stamps from Lawn Fawn! Christmas Like No Otter is a STAMPtember stamp set, meaning that it’s been released only at Simon Says Stamp and has limited quantities. So if you love the cute otter stamp I used on today’s card, be sure to order it soon. In previous years, the Lawn Fawn STAMPtember stamp set has always sold out fairly quickly. :)

NOTE: There will be lots of other exclusive STAMPtember stamp sets from other stamp company’s as well! I’ll try to share ideas for as many of them as I can throughout the entire month of STAMPtember. :)

(Wondering what I used on this card? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible). Also, I forgot to put the music info on screen in the video. The song is “Reckless” by Martin Hall.

The first thing I noticed about the cute otters besides their cute holding hands, was that they sort of created a heart shape. That’s where this card design originated. I thought it would be fun to mask off a heart around them and then create the water they’re swimming in.

I used four Distress Ink colors for the ink blending around the heart: Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, and Black Soot. I sprinkled some water droplets on the ink blending as well. As for the otters, I colored them using Copic Markers.

For the greeting on the card, I used one phrase from the Christmas Like No Otter stamp set, plus another phrase from Lawn Fawn’s Plane and Simple stamp set. I stamped those in VersaMark ink and applied some Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.

To finish off the card, I added some dots of Glossy Accents. I love how they look like real drops of water! :)

Thanks for stopping by today!
