Stencils & Watercolor – YES, YOU CAN! Playing with Watercolor Powders
Hi all! Today is Day 3 of Stencil Month! For this video I played with stencils and watercolor, specifically how to use watercolor powders with stencils. I tried out Nuvo Shimmer Powders and Lindy’s Magicals watercolor powders. Both products are great!
I played with some specific stencils: Quilted Hearts from Waffle Flower (discontinued, see similar), and Waves, Geo Leaves, and Animal Print from Simon Says Stamp.
The key to making watercolor work with stencils is Pixie Spray and a liberal amount of it applied to back of the stencils. As long as you have that, you will get great results!
