Suspended Shaker Birthday Card
Happy Monday, all!
I have a another fun shaker card for you. A while back Jennifer shared a shaker card with stamped images suspended inside. When the images are suspended they don’t turn upside down when the card is shaken, however they do still move around. I thought the idea was so cute and have been wanting to create a suspended shaker card ever since.
For my shaker card I used images from Mama Elephant’s Party Animals stamp set. I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
I stamped and heat embossed the large “Happy Birthday” from Mama Elephant’s Birthday Wishes stamp set on heat resistant acetate. This served as the front window of the shaker card.
To suspend the bunnies and chick inside the shaker card, I adhered clear thread to the back of each image and loosed extended each string across the shaker. Be sure to watch the video to see this step-by-step.
