Watercolor Floral Envelope (No-Line Watercoloring)

Happy Friday, all! Today’s post and video are part of a blog hop introducing the latest collaboration stamp set from Hero Arts. The new stamp set is with Gina K Designs and it’s gorgeous! The Friendship Blooms stamp set has the most beautiful flowers!
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I decided to create an envelope using the large floral image in the stamp set. Since I planned to watercolor the image, I first created my own envelope out of 90 lb. watercolor paper (which folds easier than heavier watercolor paper) and an envelope punch board from We R Memory Keepers.

I stamped the large floral image in Antique Linen Distress ink on both the front and back of the envelope.
The flowers were painted with Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors and then sealed with Distress Micro Glaze to protect the painting.

The mailing address was added using a gray Pentel Fude Touch Sign Pen.
NOTE: Mailing address used with permission. Thanks, Kim!
