Watercoloring with Re-inkers – Make a Card Monday #246

Happy Monday!

Today I created a watercolor card with Distress Ink reinkers–Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Peacock Feathers, to be exact. I’m getting ready to teach a watercolor class at Online Card Classes, and was looking into some new watercolors when I came across concentrated liquid watercolor pigments. They looked exactly like reinkers! So I decided to try out some watercoloring with Distress Ink reinkers. Lots of cardmakers and stampers have been watercoloring with Distress Ink for years, but I’ve yet to try it until today. :)

The greeting on the card is from the Blessed stamp set from Simon, and I heat embossed it before painting so that it would resist the watercolor. Super easy!

I finished off the card by die cutting two small hearts from the Mini Hearts dies, and then adhered three white die cut hearts.

Before I head into the video, be sure to check out the giveaway below. I’m giving away free spots in the watercolor class! :)
