You’re Not Alone – Small Stamp Repeat Stamping

Hello, all! I’m back from my vacation so I’m ready to start up the cardmaking videos again. I missed you guys! :)

Today’s card design has been in the back of my mind for about 6 weeks, ever since I saw Lawn Fawn’s Thanks a Bushel stamp set. I just knew I needed to create a card with a bunch of apples stamped in rows! I tried creating this card numerous times before coming to this design. In fact, if you watched my most recent videos closely you’ll see these little apples stamped on the scratch paper I was using. Did any of you catch it? That’s how long I’ve been working on this card. LOL!

Anyhow, the whole idea was to color most of the apple red but have two apples that looked different. Then use the “You’re not alone” sentiment from My Favorite Things’ Essential Sentiments stamp set. Because the two little green apples aren’t alone. :)

I tried out Strathmore Mixed Media paper with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on this card. The paper reminded me greatly of Strathmore Bristol Paper. I have no idea if the two papers are essentially the same thing, though. In my opinion, both papers work beautifully with Zig Clean Color markers.

Before we get to the video, I wanted to remind you all that my latest class at Online Card Classes, Wild Card, starts this Monday. Join me, Jennifer McGuire, and Kelly Marie Alvarez for a class focusing on interactive cards! It’s amazing class with lots of fun projects. I really think you’ll love it. :)

Anyway, onto today’s video. I hope you enjoy it! :)
