Can you believe I’m at my eighth card in my Capsule Papercrafting Challenge already?! (Read more about my Capsule Papercrafting Challenge here). I’m keeping the card simple today with masked watercoloring! :)
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
For the main area of the card, I used Drawing Gum (which is a liquid masking fluid) to write a large greeting, “You are the best,” on watercolor paper. After letting the masking fluid dry completely, I watercolored over the top with my Paper Fashion Watercolor Basics set.
Once the painting was dry, I removed the masking fluid. For added interest, I stamped a “Thank You” greeting from Mama Elephant’s Occasional Labels stamp set and popped it up off the card.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back very soon with my ninth card in the challenge! :)
