Watercolor Brush Lettering Using a Light Pad

Hi all! I had another card video ready for today but unfortunately the stamp set I used is completely sold out. So I’m saving that particular card for another day. Hopefully next week.

In the meantime, I thought I’d share another lettering video with you all. This time I used a light pad. Sometimes I create a pencil sketch of a lettering design and then use a light pad to “trace” the design and do the final lettering. This is a great way to eliminate trapped pencil lines under watercolor. THIS is the light pad I use.

I used Dr. Ph. Martin’s Juniper Green Radiant Concentrated Water Color (included in Set A of the 14-bottle sets) and a small Pentel Aquash brush for the lettering.

I hope you enjoy the video! :)

I often get questions about where to purchase the supplies I use in videos. To make it easier for my blog friends, all supplies are listed below! :) The letters below each image are links to stores where you can buy the product. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, etc. Affiliate links used when possible.

Items marked with an asterisk (*) were provided by a manufacturer or store. All other items were personally purchased.
